Together with our research partners of the STIMULATE Campus and the Chair of Visualization (Prof. B. Preim, PD S. Saalfeld), as well as the Chair of Fluid Mechanics and Thermodynamics (Prof. G. Janiga, PD. P. Berg), we are working on concepts that will enable automated analyses of neurovascular issues using artificial intelligence (AI). In preparation for full automation, we are also working on strategies for optimized post-processing solutions for neurovascular imaging. In addition, we are working on various projects based on image post processing and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Here, we follow a distinctly translational approach, which focuses on the transfer of research results into clinical practice.
